> Does program update is free ?
All minor updates are free, for example a version 4.X can update for free to all version 4.XX. For major update, example version 4.X to versoin 5.X, as a registered user you benefit of a special discount price. Just contact us to know the price.

> Which payment method can i use to purchase your product ?
You can use credit card, check and cash sent by mail, bank/wire transfer , Switch/solo. To get more information about its, just go in the order page. 



> Can i ask for a refund ?
No, our products are sold as shareware, that's mean try before to buy. With all our products you can try the product during at least 30 days to check if it meet your needs. So no refund will be accepted after an order.





> When i send a message, it doesn't work
So please check the following things:
- if you have Windows XP with firewall activate, active the printer and share file in the firewall and authorize the winpopup gold.
For information WinPopup use the port UDP 137 and 138.
- Do you have activated the NETBIOS under your TCP/IP network protocol ?
- Under Windows NT/2000/XP, do you have enable 'Computer Browser' service ?
- Do you have activated the Windows files and printer sharing ?
- Do you have installed WinPopup Gold on every computers of the network ?
- Do you have the same workgroup's name on every computer of the network ? If no, please in the WinPopup Gold's options/network add all the workgroup's name.
- When you write in the 'Send To' field a star '*' and send a message, do you receive this message ?
- In Windows, when you go on the Network Neighborhood windows, do you see all the computers on network ?




> When i go in the 'who's online' window i find some pc off line instead of online, what can i do?
The 'Who s connected' window is only for information, even if a user is offline you can send him a message, this is a Microsoft network protocol mistake (it can work perfectly on some networks and other not!).

So please check the following:
- Do you have the same workgroup's name on every computer of the network ? If no, please in the WinPopup Gold's options/network add all the workgroup's name.
- If you have a firewall, please desactive it and try it again. If it works, just enable in the firewall the port udp 137 and 138 and of course the program WinPopup Gold.
 



> Is WinPopup Gold secure against internet ? 
Yes it is, WinPopup Gold works only on your local area network (LAN) and has no access to internet. 



> Multi domain name, does it work ? 
Yes, it works with multi-domain on your LAN. You can add all domains name in the 'Options/Network'.



> I try to update the program, but it doesn't work ? 
Before to update the program, you need to quit WinPopup Gold with the right way. Please click on menu 'File', then 'Quit' or press CTRL+Q on your keyboard. If you just click in the top right cross, WinPopup Gold will be minimized in the task bar closed to the clock. 



> Can it be compatible with the old Microsoft WinPopup ? 
Yes it can. You can send and receive message from the old Microsoft WinPopup, but what you have to know are:
- When you receive a message with Microsoft WinPopup, from a WinPopup Gold user, you have some data added to the message.
- With WinPopup Gold, you can't see if a Microsoft WinPopup user is connected.
- A Microsoft WinPopup can't connect to the chat.
- With WinPopup Gold, you can't have a confirmation message from a Microsoft WinPopup user.

To set WinPopup Gold compatible, please go into menu 'Options', then select 'Options', 'Advanced' and select the message channel 'messngr'.
